For more than 25 years, Dr. Dennis Leung has provided eye care services to Los Angeles people, especially in the San Gabriel Valley region. He graduated in 1984 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts and primarily practices at Arcadia, Irvine, Rowland Heights, and San Gabriel.
Dr. Leung is passionate about education. He enjoys lecturing for other eye care practitioners on clinical advancements in refractive laser surgeries, hard-to-fit contact lenses, and specialty contact lens design. He has also spoken about eye diseases related to dry eye syndromes and eye infections.
Dr. Leung completed training in the treatment and management of ocular disease. He passed the National Board of Examiners TMOD examination in 1996. In addition, he has completed ophthalmological preceptorship training. He is certified for the treatment of glaucoma and corneal refractive therapy (CRT).
Dr. Leung is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and a board member of the Orthokeratology Academy of America and Myopia Control. He is also affiliated with the California Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
His professional mission is to prevent and slow myopia progression in children. He is a fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (FIAOMC), one of only 150 in the world.

Dr. Leung is fluent in English, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), and Spanish. When he’s not talking about ocular health, you can find Dr. Leung’s playing piano and guitar! He is also an avid soccer player and fan.
