Dr. Chu received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. For several years he worked at a biotech company doing genetic research before going to optometry school. Dr. Chu earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona.
Dr. Chu is board-certified to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents for the treatment and management of ocular diseases, including glaucoma.
Before joining Golden Vision, Dr. Chu worked in a private optometry office and a LASIK center, where he performed pre-op and post-op examinations.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time at church, traveling with family and friends, movies, and video games.
