Dr. Chen graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychobiology. He then received his Bachelor of Visual Science and Doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2004. His clinical experience includes Veterans Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto and Naval Medical Hospital in San Diego. Dr. Chen is certified to prescribe diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents for treating ocular diseases, including glaucoma. Dr. Chen’s practice mainly focuses on primary eye care, treating and managing ocular disease, and orthokeratology contact lenses for myopia control. Dr. Chen is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
