Dr. Lillian Voong was born and raised in sunny southern California. She grew up in Arcadia, California, and completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Riverside with a degree in biological sciences. She is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Her clinical training includes internships at the VA Southeast Tucson Clinic in Arizona, the Center for the Partially Sighted in Culver City, and VA Salt Lake in Utah.
